Fusion Welding of 60/52 kg rail joints in 3/10 rail panel by SKV process as per Railways Manual of Fusion Welding of Rail by Alumino thermic process 1998 and IRS T-19-2012 corrected up to date Under supervision of RDSO approved agency /Railways supervision with Railway's supply of welding equipement, welding portion with accessories duly adjusting sleeper spacing (three sleeper on either side of each joint) and adjusting gaps for welding, preparation of rail ends for welding, fixing of moulds, clamps, preheating equipment, chipping with Rly's weld trimmer, finishing of welded joints Railway's profile grinder to required tolerances including painting of weld collar with contractors epoxy paint for a length of 150 mm on either side of weld collar duly aligning and string lining 3 rail/ 10 rail panel in track/cess lifting and supporting rail panel on wooden blocks to create working space respacing sleeper before /after welding, removing fish bolt with nut , ERC, liner, rubber pad and keys etc to facilitate welding and refixing them after the welding, gauging and packing the sleeper to correct cross level after welding and providing necessary closure Rail with fish plates and bolts and allow traffic duly supporting new welds on wooden blocks and shifting of welding equipment from one place to another place with all lead, lift ,descent using contractor's own labour, tools & plant, consumables such as Kerosene, petrol and epoxy paint etc including posting of look out men and protection to track as directed by the Engineer in charge at site. The cost is inclusive of supply of labour (minimum 2 moulder, 1 aligner, 2 hammer man and required no unskilled men to assist welding party). Supply of Petrol @ 1.5 Lit per joint In Case of Cess welding rail panel Should be supported at on 10 wooden blocks on either side to prevent movement. Note: 1) Welding portions, weld trimmer and profile grinder will be supplied at SE/P-Way /Depot. Contractor has to make his own arrangements for transporting the same to the site of work and maintain it in good working condition at his own cost 2) Fuel and Operator required for Hydraulic weld trimmer and profile grinder should be arranged by the contractor and on completion of the work Hydraulic weld trimmer and profile grinder should be handed over to the Railways in good condition If any deficiency noticed, the cost will be recovered from the contractor.

Engaging JCB for cleaning all types of vegetations including roots, bushes and cutting of small trees, cutting and forming of earthern drains etc., complete, clearing the removed vegetations away from the track and without infringing the movement of trains with contracor's own plants, machinies and other accessories 13 as reuired etc., and as directed by the engineer in charge without causing damage to Rly. property . Whereever road approach available including forming road to kutcha road to reach work spot. etc., complete and as directed by the Engineer in -charge . (All labour, materials by contractors.) NOTE: PAYMENT based on log book maintained at site by the Engineer-in-Charge or his representative duly recording the purpose of operating of the above item. Per Track

Deep screening manualy of entire stone ballast in between sleeper i.e. crib ballast, shoulder ballast and below sleeper up to formation level to provide minimum clear cushion of 300mm as per procedure prescribed in Para 238 of IRPWM 1986 by screening the ballast to separate muck (Size less than 30mm), putting back clean 15 ballast into track and disposing the muck away from track/out side cutting so as it will not washed back into side drains/ catch water drains or use the same to repair cess/slopes with crossing of track wherever required so as to achieve desired cushion and longitudinal profile, under traffic at speed restriction of 20 Kmph and one initial packing including ramping in and ramping out of approaches at commencement and close of work, posting of men for lookout and protection etc. with all lead and lift with contractors labour, tools plant and implements as directed by Engineer in charge- 1 in 8.5 P& C PAS / 100, 103 , PGR / 63B& KRR / 104A,105W,132,137A.

During BCM line block on adjacent line removing of track in rear of crossing upto 15m duly 26 removing sleepers and rails upto 15m long to avoid infringing of cutter bar of adjacent cross over point BCM work and after completion of BCM work again relinking the same duly inserting sleepers and rails with fastenings and kutcha packing and make it fit for running trains. Opening out of level crossings upto 50 mm below the bottom of sleepers by dismantling road 28 surface and removing ballast muck etc; disposing of all muck as directed and filling back with ballast available near by upto crib of sleeper and levelling the ballast profile after BCM working as per the instruction given by site in charge with contractors own labourers, tools and plants etc. And paving the surface for the road traffic upto second through packing, so nothing extra will be paid.
