• The industrial policy of J&K offers attractive incentives along with a single window clearance mechanism, wherein land is allotted at concessional rates in industrial areas on lease for 90 years
• The NHIDCL ( National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation) is developing five tunnels in the UT at a cost of 3.42 million USD. These tunnels will have an all weather access and the project will all be completed by 2024
• Total of 543 projects will be sanctioned at a cost of ₹ 2237 crore with funding from NABARD in fiscal year 2023
• To reduce traffic in Srinagar and Jammu, an elevated light metro rail system is expected to be rolled out by 2022-23 and is likely to be completed by 2026
