The design and drawings provided by the contractor should be Vetted Vetted by any IIT/NIT Institute or as approved by the Employer, on contractor's cost. For construction of WTP, Admin Building (Plinth area minimum 120 sqm / as required), Chemical Building, Command Control Room and fire fighting arrangements, first aid, chlorination building and shed, circular cascading aerator with overloading (surface loading rate as per CPHEEO manual), Inlet chamber, ventury flume with overloading, alum dosing, pre-sedimentation tank, flash mixer with depth: width ratio 3:1, horizontal flow clarifloculator with overloading, Rapid gravity filters with one standby and with back wash arrangement and pumps, compressor etc. inlet and outlet arrangement with overloading, proper sludge disposal and backwash water disposal arrangements to nearest drain/low laying area & Appurtenant works of the below mentioned capacity, automated through PLC with outputs to SCADA, 1.0 m wide walkaway in between WTP components with railing in two rows, guard room, chemical house in two stories with 7 days temporary storage, store house with one month storage capacity plus extra capacity for other sundry articles (minimum 70 sqm / as required), Gaseous chlorination house and chlorine cylinder store room with 1 month storage capacity, water pumps and chlorinators with standby, chlorine neutralization tank, chlorination chamber, bypass arrangements, security guard room, including one laboratory block of 60 sqm minimum area or as per recommendation of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment, whichever is more; provided with one chemist room, one office room and remaining part for storing the chemicals and conducting the test, toilet with laboratory equipment’s and chemical etc. as per Annexure-I and Supply of 47 Nos. field testing of water kits strictly as per CPHEEO manuals. Providing and installation of Fire Extinguishers and internal & external electrifications and adequate LED lighting. Brickwork 1:4 (one cement and four sand), plasterwork 1:6 (one cement and six sand). Steel and cement to be used as per approved by Engineer-in charge / IS code. Reinforced Cement Concrete minimum M-25 to be used including fixing of doors, windows, shutters, glass panels. Supply and fixing of EOT gantry crane 5 MT capacity. Including cement paint, two coat over one priming coat using approved Colour and shade and whitewashing three coat of ceiling of pump house and painting over new ironwork with one coat of primer and two coat of approved paint including cost of all arrangement of shuttering, scaffolding and water with supply of all materials, labors T&P etc. required for proper completion of works as per direction of the Engineer. The Concrete in a minimum grade of M-30 and steel to be used as per IS code and approved by Employer. Seismic effects and wind load with earthquake resistance should be taken into account in the design. CWR should be provided with a ventilator, manhole of adequate size. MS ladder minimum of 0.45 m wide in manhole should be provided. Ultrasonic water level indicator should be provided along with lightening conductor as per IS 2309. PCC of M-10 grade to be used in bed blocks. Overflow arrangement with the supply & installation of pressure pipe of the same dia as that of the inlet, for taking overflow water to a suitable low lying area. The size of CI DF inlet and outlet pipes shall be same as that of feeder main and delivery main respectively. The size of CI DF Wash out pipe shall be 150 mm to 200 mm dia as decided by the Engineer. Supply and installation of CI DF Sluice valve of Class 10 of same size as that of inlet, outlet, wash out pipes. The scope of pipe assembly work shall be up to 5 meter beyond outside face of the wall. Painting of all concrete surface with cement paint, two coat over one priming coat using approved Colour and shade and whitewashing three coat of ceiling of pump house and steel pipes with 3 coats of approved anticorrosive paint including all labor, material, T & P etc, all required for proper completion of works as per the direction of the Engineer. Construction of Over Head Tank of different capacities and staging heights as mentioned below. Supply of all materials labour T&P etc. compete and construction of R.C.C. (M30 Grade) with main components, Instruments & SCADA, wireless telemetry (voice & Data) including cost of soil testing. All the components of O.H.T. will be casted in M30 concrete with cement, coarse sand and approved stone grit as per I.S. 11682 and I.S.456. Seismic effects and wind load should be taken into consideration as I.S. 1893 for earthquake resistance and I.S. 875 part-III for wind load on structure (this area is in seismic Zone III and high damage risk zone for wind) Proper ventilator at top dome in circular shape along with an R.C.C. cover of required thickness, height of pillar of ventilator should be minimum 50 cm. The space between top dome and R.C.C. cover should be covered with mosquito net of standard quality along with expanded metaled jali, Ultrasonic type Water level indicator and residual chlorine sensor/ transmitter. The indicator board scale made of 3mm thick M.S. plate should have a clear width of minimum 25cm painted with good Asian paint. It should also consists of 3mm brass wire rope minimum 4 smooth pulleys about 8 cm dia with guides, 15cm dia copper ball float which shall be completely water tight suitable pointer of brass etc. Lightening conductor as per I.S.S.2309 of its latest amendments of latest electricity rules.It should consist proper elevation rod with 5 or more fork points proper down conductors of prescribed metal of proper size prescribed by ISS 2309-1969 and ISS 3013-1966 C.I. manhole of min 60x60cm size made of M.S. channel section with adequate cover made of M.S. sheet of minimum 3mm thickness hinged with manhole with locking arrangement. This manhole should be fix at top dome at proper place. MS ladder minimum of 0.45 m wide in manhole should be provided, fixing, jointing of following size of C.I.D/F Pipes with C.I.D/F specials conforming to IS 8329/2000 as vertical pipes for inlet, outlet, overflow and washout as per latest / relevant I.S. specifications with all jointing materials for proper completion of work including other appurtenant works and excavation in all types of soil and rock. Including Out let pipes size as max. dia of pipe of distribution system, Inlet pipes as size of rising main, Over flow pipes min. as size of rising main & Wash out pipe 100 to 200 mm dia as decided by Engineer. Supply and Fixing of valves/sluice valves with hand wheels as per ISS 700/1969 or its latest amendments class “A” working pressure 10 Kg/cm2 Including cartage from its store to the site of work, lowering them into trenches, fixing in position and testing etc. complete, Construction of bed blocks in 1:2:4 PCC with cement, coarse sand and approved stone grit under each duck foot bend to support the vertical pipes. These bed blocks should be supported on the raft and not on the soil, Construction of 1 m wide apron and 15 Cm dia semi circular Drain all around the tank, Construction of sluice valve chamber for above sluice valve/Butterfly valve as per departmental type design and drawing including supply of all labour T&P complete. Construction of washout / overflow chamber as per departmental type design and drawing. Painting of all concrete surface and steel pipe works with three coats of approved cement paint and anticorrosive paints and epoxy (food grade) painting to internal surface of container & bottom of roof slab, anti-termite treatment for underground parts of the structure and giving satisfactory water tightness test as per I.S.code. Supply & laying of 200 mm dia PVC pipe as per I.S.-4985/2000 or as latest / relevant specification including all taxes and insurance etc.F.O.R. destination for disposal of water from overflow and washout chamber to suitable point outside the water works compound including excavation of trenches. Laying of pipe line etc.required for proper completion of works as per direction of the Engineer. Assumed SBC of soil is 8 MT/Sq.m
