Transportation of sleepers from available location at motorable point within 100 km with 5 contractors road lorry truck/ trailer including loading unloading with contractors own means to the nominated location, stacking and leading to the work spot including spreading as per requirement, crossing of track wherever required with all contractors labour, tool and plant, vehicles, fuel, consumables, crew with all lead and lift complete as directed by engineer at site.

Cutting of 52kg/60kg rails with contractors abrasive rail cutter to true vertical plane on cess or 6 running line under traffic block duly respacing sleepers , fixing of Railways fish plates and bolts where ever necessory, including posting of look out men with contractors own rail cutting machine including supply of cutting disk, other consumables ,labour complete with all lead and lift as directed by the Engineer in charge at site.

Drilling holes of 32mm dia hole for fish-plating to correct spacing and location in 52kg/60kg 7 rails on cess or under traffic block including champhering of holes with prescribed champhering tools with contractors own drilling machine, champhering tool, supply of bits, other consumables, tools and plant, labour complete with all lead and lift as directed by the Engineer in charge at site.

Drilling holes of 19mm dia hole for Traction bonding to correct spacing and location in 8 52kg/60kg rails on cess or under traffic block including champhering of holes with prescribed champhering tools with contractors own drilling machine, champhering tool, supply of bits, other consumables, tools and plant, labour complete with all lead and lift as directed by the Engineer in charge at site.

Drilling holes of 8mm dia hole for S&T bonding to correct spacing and location in 52kg/60kg 9 rails on cess or under traffic block including champhering of holes with prescribed champhering tools with contractors own drilling machine, champhering tool, supply of bits, other consumables, tools and plant, labour complete with all lead and lift as directed by the Engineer in charge at site. Per Track

Unloadiong of single rail upto 26 m length or small length from railway wagon/Lorry/Trailer 12 with contractors own mechanized system (not manualy) within admissible time as per Railways commercial rules including all lead and lift and stacking it to location as per advise of the Engineer in charge, taking all precautions for handling of 90 UTS rails as envisaged in additional specifications of works.

Welding of rails rail panels of all sizes (upto three rail panel length) of rail type 52 kg/60 Kg 90/72 UTS and/or 60 Kg (90 UTS ) new / second hand confirming to Indian railway manual for flashbutt welding using contractors own mabile flash butt welding plant at PGTN . The rate inclusive of all freight of mobile flash butt welding plant with all necessary accessories all labour material consumables lead lift crossing the tracks and all other charges taxes levialble by Govt/Semi govt bodies from time to time all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Rate includes pre straightening of rails, matching the rails as per rail ends, preparation for 13 welding, aligning, positioning, Stripping of rail joints, grinding, finishing of joint cropping and segregating defective rails complete. Post straightning of joints if necessary. Cost of necessary tests including provision of digital USFD testing machines with all accessories for successful testing as per conditions of contract, proper stacking of rails/rail panels, leading rails/rail panels from stack to welding site and to stack of panel rails including arrangement of labour consumables etc. NOTE: 1. 80 % payment shall be done after acceptance by Railway for welding joints and USFD testing and balance payment will be done after loading of panel into rake. 2. The contractor will have to plan and setup the welding depot which involves setting up his own gantries hoists roller mechanism pathway shed offices etc. The cost for this shall be included in the quoted rate per weld. After completion of work, the contractor will be allowed to take away the retrievable assets.

Loading of welded 3 rail panel or smaller into BFR/BRH/Lorry by contractors own mechanized 14 arrangement (not manualy) at Flash butt welding plant within admissible time as per Railway commercial rules including all lead lift as per the advise of Engineer in charge taking all precautions for handling of 90 UTS rails as envisaged in additional specifications of works.

Welding of all rails rail panels of all sizes (longer than 3 rail panel and upto 20 rail panel length) of rail type 52 kg/60 Kg 90/72 UTS and/or 60 Kg (90 UTS ) new / second hand confirming to Indian railway manual for flashbutt welding using contractors own mabile flash butt welding plant at PGTN . The rate inclusive of all freight of mobile flash butt welding plant with all necessary accessories all labour material consumables lead lift crossing the tracks and all other charges taxes levialble by Govt/Semi govt bodies from time to time all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Loading of welded 20 rail panel or smaller rail panel but longer than 3 rail panel into fabricated 16 loading arrangements on mechanical rake with contractors own mechanized arrangement 9not manualy) at Flash butt welding plant within admissible time as per Railway commercial rules including all lead lift as per the advise of Engineer in charge taking all precautions for handling of 90 UTS rails as envisaged in additional specifications of works.

Painting of weld joint upto 75 mm length on either side of weld on both side of rail with approved quality of anti corrossive paint two coat including cleaning of surface from all dirt, oily or greasy materials etc.

Manufacturing and supplying of MS roller of dia 75 mm length of 155 mm and MS pin in both 18 side of 25 mm and 40 mm etc with contractors own labour materials, tools and plants in all respect as per the direction of Engineer in charge at site. Rate also includes cost of transportation, leads, lifts, crossing of track etc including all types of taxes and any other incidental charges complete as per the approved drawings.

Supplying of tested chains of 20 mm and MS ball chain link length of 150 mm (approx) of 19 approved quality with fixing nut and bolt of 40 mm length and 25 m dia. Reduced chain link dia on either side including all cutting, drilling, maching nut, bolts etc as required. Rate also includes cost of transportation, leads, lifts, crossing of track etc including all type of taxes and any other incidental charges.

Supplying fabrication and erection of BRID roller of 130 mm dia and 450 mm long fitted with 20 30 mm dia axel of lenth projected other side 40 mm fitted with ball bearings as per approved drawing including all cutting drilling machining etc as required. Rate also includes cost of transportation, leads lifts crossing of tracks etc including all types of taxes and any other incidental charges.

Supplying fabrication and erection of ramp roller on BRNA floor plate 800 mm length 75 mm 21 dia filled with ball bearing and axel complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge with contractors own labour, materials tools and welding equipments in all respect including all cutting drilling machining etc as required. Rate also includes cost of transportation, leads lifts crossing of tracks etc including all types of taxes and any other incidental charges.

Manufacturing supplying and erection of multiple aspect square threaded bar with 3 start to 4 22 start with brass nut to suit the square threaded spindle and 2 numbers bush of 75 mm and width 15-80/100 mm and 1400 mm length. Rate also includes cost of transportation leads lifts crossing of tracks etc including all types of taxes and any other incidental charges.

Supplying and fabrication and erection of verticle roller on 110 mtrs length, 200 mm dia with 23 30 mm dia axel of length projected either side 105 mm partially threaded, filled with ball bearing including all works complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge with contractors own labour, materials tools and welding equipments in all respect including all cutting drilling machining etc as required. Rate also includes cost of transportation, leads lifts crossing of tracks etc including all types of taxes and any other incidental charges.

Rate includes pre straightening of rails, 24 matching the rails as per rail ends, preparation for welding, aligning, positioning, Stripping of rail joints, grinding, finishing of joint cropping and segregating defective rails complete. Post straightning of joints if necessary. Cost of necessary tests including provision of digital USFD testing machines with all accessories for successful testing as per conditions of contract, proper stacking of rails/rail panels, leading rails/rail panels from stack to welding site and to stack of panel rails including arrangement of labour consumables etc. NOTE: 1. 80 % payment shall be done after acceptance by Railway for welding joints and USFD testing and balance payment will be done after loading of panel into rake. 2. Insertion of glued joints 52 kg/60kg duly cutting and removing existing rail at required location, removing and refixing all rail sleeper fasteners, drilling of holes and fixing fish plate with nuts, fixing closure rail 25 wherever required with due allowance for welding under traffic block, gauging and aligning to bring the track to the standard with all contractors labour, tool, plant, consumables with all lead and lift complete and as directed by engineer at site.Leading and spreading of glued joint,rails,sleepers,fittings and fastenings are covered under transportation item.

Assembling laying and insertion of 52 kg/60kg rail SEJ/combination SEJ on PSC sleeper as per approved drawing to correct gauge alignment including renewal of approach rails duly removing 26 PSC/Wooden/CST9 Track/ Old SEJ in required length under traffic block, connecting the SEJ with gapless joint, Supply and fixing of angle ties and three rounds of packing with all contractors labour tools plant, consumables lead and lift complete and as directed by engineer at site.Leading and spreading of approach rail,SEJ rail,sleeper,fittings and fastenings are covered under transportation item.

Transportation of free rails 52/60kg/ glued joint /switches/crossings/SEJ rails/check rails from EWS Arakonam/ FBW/P-way depot at AJJ/GOC or any where in Indian Railway to site of work/ base depot/ 27 sectional P-way depot with contractors road lorry /truck/trailor including loading unloading with contractors own means to the nominated location, stacking and leading to the work spot and spreading with all contractors labour, tool and plant, vehicles, fuel, consumables, crew with all lead and lift complete as directed by engineer at site. Note:Tenderer/Contractor should obtain an open cover Insurance Policy and such costs shall be included in the quoted rates.(Vide Rly.Bds Lr. No.2004/RS(G)779/9 dtd.24-10-2007

Provision of suitable rail closure piece duly removing the exg.weld and providing the 1m fish 28 plates/joggled fishplates under traffic condition including fixing of clamps & bolts, removing ballast to have clearance for clamp, conveying the rail piece & fish plates/joggled fish plates and clamps to site of work, collecting the removed weld piece and stacking away from track without infringing etc. with contractor's own labour, tools, consumables etc. with all lead and lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Fish plating the ends of rail panels already pulled back, with 1m fish plates and bolts and tightening of bolts and nuts as required under traffic conditions including carrying the 1m fishplates to site, clearing the ballast if covered at rail seat, removing and refixing the fittings such as ERC,GFN at fish plated area with contractor's own labour, tools, consumables etc. with all lead and lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Per Track

Manufacturing and supply of LC fittings at nominated locations and leading to work spot 32 including spreading as per RDSO Assembly Drg.No.T-4916. and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (One set of fittings consist of C.I bracket T-4917 - 1 No, C.I distance piece T-4785 - 1 No, Bolts & nuts 22nn T-11550 - 1 No, Plate screw T-3913 - 2 Nos and Single coil spring washer T-10773 - 3Nos.
