Providing ready mixed reinforcement cement concrete M-50 grade produced from approved automatic microprocessor control batching and mixing plant , with Maximum aggregate size(MAS) of 20mm graded stone aggregates for precast Prestressed Concrete Girders(casting in yard) & launching of girder with all contractors labour, material, tools and plants including all lead and lift etc. complete as per technical specification. Note-1: The rate of the item is inclusive of 1. Providing HDPE pipes for future HTS strand if any; 2. Platform, formwork, shuttering, centering, scaffolding and supporting system for concreting; 3. mixing, vibrating, compaction and curing of the concrete; 4. Chemical compound such as super plasticizer, retarder, silica fumes etc.; 5. 4 Necessary transportation, handling, lifting, lowering, sliding, aligning, levelling erecting and launching of Girders to its final position from casting yard; 6. Embedding of arrangement for fixing of bearings, if any; 7. Cost of all materials, cement, labour, plants & machinery etc. complete; 8. all lead and lifts. Note-2: 1) Ready Mixed concrete produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic concrete mixing & batching plant shall only be used; 2) No construction joint or cold joint will be permitted; 3) Only Reinforcement steel & HTS wire will be paid separately; 4) 75% payment of this item including reinforcement steel and HTS strand used for each girder will be released after casting and first stage pre-stressing of girder at casting bed. Balance payment will be released only after launching of girder at its final position and casting of diaphragm of girder; 5) PSC girders shall be casted in casting yard only. No cast in situ of girder will be allowed; 6)Please refer para No.25 of additional special condition of contract Part-II.

Providing Ready Mixed Reinforcement Cement Concrete of M-45 grade concrete, produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic batching plant, in RCC Deck slab for bridge with machine crushed graded stone aggregate and sand of approved quality including all lead & lift, dewatering, transporting, 5 placing , compaction, curing of concrete including using all types of form work, shuttering, centering, scaffolding, etc. complete with all contractors labour, cement, material, construction chemicals such as plasticizer, retarder etc, plants & machineries with all lead & lift complete as per technical specifications.(Minimum cement content 430 kg per cum & Maximum W/C ratio 0.4). Note: No extra payment shall be made for using equipments like placer boom / Concrete pump etc.

Supplying & fixing expansion joints as per RDSO's drawing No. RDSO/B/10273/3 with all 6 fixtures, joints sealant with all contractors structural steel & other materials, labour, galvanisation etc. complete.The rate is inclusive of 115 micron thick galvanising of all steel components,though it is not mentioned in drawing.

Supplying, laying and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 contractors Hume pipe of 350mm dia NP-4 7 (conforming to RDSO Drg. No. R-372 and RDSO/B-1069-R for 350mm dia Hume pipe) including transportation, placing in position, alignment, etc. complete with all leads and lifts loading and unloading with all leads and lifts loading and unloading with all contractor's labour and materials including Hume pipe, collars, tools and equipment, etc. complete. (Minimum cement consumption 0.036 bags per pipe joint).

Providing protective coating to exposed concrete face of bridge as per CECRI, Karaikudi - 8 integrated 4 coat system having 1st cost of micaceous iron oxide under coat, second coat polyimide primer, third coat of polyimide finish coat and last coat of aliphatic acrylic polyurethane finish coat (Bergerthane or similar paint) as per detailed specification attached.

Preparing and submitting to Railways, 1 sets of completion drawings (all detailed drawings) after completion of work, on polyester based tracing films (min. 75 microns thick, one side mat of superior quality) in black indelible ink duly incorporating all additions and alterations in red ink, along with a copy of the same on a CD, 6 white prints and 1 copy on RTF.

Provision of Blanketing over finished formation as per RDSO's latest specification and procedures by supplying materials of approved quality, blending/ mixing, spreading in layers not exceeding in 30 cm in thickness in loose conditions by paver, leveling by grader, compacting by vibro roller of required capacity 10 upto desired degree of compaction (not less than 98% of MDD), finishing of correct profile with all lead & lift, complete in all respect upto the satisfaction of Railway site engineer. Rate also includes watering wherever requiring, all tools, plants, machinery, testing equipment and charges, labours, all taxes, Royalties, Octroi etc. as may be required. The work shall be carried out as per latest RDSO Guidelines for earthwork in Railway Project, Specification for mechanically produced blanketing material for Railway formations including guidelines for laying and RDSO/2007/GE : 0014.

Earthwork in cutting in all type of strata such as such as ordinary soil, clay, soft Murum, hard Murum, soft rock, boulders, including hard rock not requiring blasting/chiselling in formation, trolley refuges, side drains, level crossing approaches, platforms, catch water drains, diversion of nallah & finishing to required dimension and slopes to obtain a neat appearance to standard profile inclusive of all labour, machine and materials and removing & leading all cut spoils for filling in embankment with all leads within the section limit, lifts, ascent, descent, loading, unloading, all taxes/royalty, clearance of site and all incidental charges, bailing & pumping out water if required, etc., complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work is to be executed as per Latest / updated edition of "Guidelines for Earthwork in Railway Projects" issued by RDSO, Lucknow. Cut trees shall be property of Railways and to be deposited in the railway godown unless specified otherwise in the Special conditions of contract. Note: 1. This item is applicable for excavation in all type of strata such as ordinary soil, clay, soft Murum, hard Murum, soft rock, boulders, including hard rock not requiring blasting but excluding hard rock requiring blasting. 2. All usable excavated material shall be used for formation of Railway 11 embankment with in the section limit with all lead and lift. All unusable materials to be dumped outside the Railway boundary. The rate of this Item will inclusive of all these works. 3. Rate is inclusive of making trench manually at interval of 25M in any patch if required to identify underground cable/pipe lines etc. No extra payment for the manual trenching will be made. 4. The decision of Railways regarding classification of soil is final and binding. 5. Cutting in hard rock requiring blasting (To be cut by chiselling or controlled blasting) will be made under Item No. 12/NS. 6. Rate of this item does not include payment of royalty since, cut to lead royalty is not applicable as per minor mineral act. 7. Rate of item is inclusive of all cost of transportation of excavated material from cut site to fill site within the section limit with all lead and lift, with all contractors labour, vehicle, dumper, loading, unloading etc. complete. 8. Rate of item is inclusive of spreading, levelling and compacting excavated material for filling. 9. The rate is inclusive of lighting arrangement required during night working. 10. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures etc. in the vicinity of works, obtaining license from local authority. 11. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 12. Rate is inclusive of all type of dewatering i.e. manually or by electric / diesel operated pumps/motor. No extra payment is admissible for dewatering.

Earthwork in cutting in hard rock requiring blasting by chiselling / controlled blasting in formation, trolley refuges, side drains, level crossing approaches, platforms, catch water drains, diversion of nallah 12 & finishing to required dimension and slopes to obtain a neat appearance to standard profile inclusive of all labour, machine and materials and removing & leading all cut spoils for filling in embankment with all leads within the section limit, lifts, ascent, descent, loading, unloading, all taxes/royalty, clearance of site and all incidental charges, bailing & pumping out water if required, etc., complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work is to be executed as per Latest / updated edition of "Guidelines for Earthwork in Railway Projects" issued by RDSO, Lucknow. Cut trees shall be property of Railways and to be deposited in the railway godown unless specified otherwise in the Special conditions of contract. NOTE: 1. This item is applicable for excavation in hard rock requiring blasting only. 2. Excavation under this item willl be done either by chiselling such as pavement breaker attached with mechanical earth excavator equipment such as poclain/JCB, chiseller, rock splitter, cutter, hammer or by controlled blasting. 3. Open blasting or ordinary blasting shall not be permitted. 4. In case, if it is not possible to have controlled blasting for cutting of hard rock then work shall be done by chiselling only. 5. All usable excavated material shall be used for the formation of Railway embankment with in the section limit with all lead and lift. 6. Rate is inclusive of making trench manually at interval of 25M in any patch if required to identify under ground cable/pipe line etc.. No extra payment for the manual trenching instead of mechanical trenching will be made. 7. The decision of Railways regarding classification of strata is final and binding. 8. Contractor will provide blasting pattern/scheme for controlled blasting from the expert agency for the approval of Railway. Controlled blasting shall be done as per the approved pattern only. 9. Rate is inclusive of designing blasting pattern from expert agency. 10. Rate is inclusive of muffing of blast holes i.e. covering blasting area with steel plate or similar material loaded with sand fill bag to avoid flying of excavated material after blasting. 11. Rate is inclusive of lighting arrangement required during night working. 12. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures etc. in the vicinity of works, obtaining license from local authority. 13. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 14. Rate is inclusive of all type of dewatering i.e. manually or by electric / diesel operated pumps/motors. No extra payment is admissible for dewatering. 15. Rate of this item does not include payment of royalty since, cut to lead royalty is not applicable as per minor mineral act. 16. Rate of item is inclusive of all cost of transportation of excavated material from cut site to fill site with all contractors labour, vehicle, dumper, loading, unloading etc. complete. 17. Rate of item is inclusive of spreading, levelling and compacting excavated material for filling. 18. Rate of Item inclusive of breaking large boulder in to smaller size less than thickness of one layer.

Earth work with compaction in all height in Railway embankment including bridge approaches with contractors own earth as per specification attached in the tender document with all lead and lift, spreading in 13 layers, watering and rolling at OMC with contractors power driven vibro roller of minimum 8 to10 tonne capacity to the required density of min. 98 percent(%) of MDD as obtained from heavy compaction modified proctors test in accordance with IS2720(pt VIII) 1983 and IS 10379 of 1982 including dressing the top and side slopes and forming the profile with all contractors tools, labours, materials and plants, fuel, consumable etc. complete. The work shall be carried out as per RDSO's Latest GUIDELINES FOR EARTHWORK IN RAILWAY PROJECT.

Providing 40 mm thick mastic asphaltic wearing coat on deck slab by applying primer coat of bitumen 10/20 grade at the rate of 0.80 kg/m2 compacting with approved tamping equipment etc. complete as per technical specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge at site.
