Note: 60% of the rate shall be paid on casting and curing of the above item and 40% will be paid on fixing the same in position in satisfactory condition.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position single skin trapezoidal profile pre painted sheet of 0.50 mm thick (TCT) ZINC Aluminium alloy coated as per AS:1397 super polyster colour blind ultra roof sheets of specified 01 colour for FOB, shelter, mini shelter. The feed material manufactured out of 0.45 mm thick BMT (BASE METAL TOTAL THICKNESS) High tensile steel with minimum 550mpa yield strength alloy coating zinc aluminium. The colour shall have total coating thickness of 20 microns for exterior coat on top surface and 10 micron on reverse coat on back surface. The profile 35mm crest depth at 207 mm centers overall width 1100 mm and effective width 1035 mm, fastenings as required at site self drilling screws are SST 3566 class 3 xylan coated.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position single skin trapezoidal profile pre painted sheet of 0.50 mm thick (TCT) ZINC Aluminium alloy coated as per AS:1397 super polyster colour blind ultra roof 01 ridges/flashing/clading of specified colour. The feed material manufactured out of 0.45 mm thick BMT (BASE METAL TOTAL THICKNESS) High tensile steel with minimum 550mpa yield strength alloy coating zinc aluminium. The colour shall have total coating thickness of 20 microns for exterior coat on top surface and 10 micron on reverse coat on back surface fastenings as required at site self drilling screws are SST 3566 class 3.

Providing FOB, platform shelters, height gauge, columns, beams, trusses and other steel components of miscellaneous works duly launched in position with or without traffic block as directed by Engineer with contractors steel conforming to IS:2062-1999 including fabrication, assembly, erection, launching, riveting/welding, bolting, initial coats of zinc chromate priming conforming to relevant IS specification and three subsequent coats of aluminum paint of approved quality conforming to IS:2339 after final erection on all surfaces complete. Rate is inclusive of supply and fixing of MS holding down bolts for IRS type platform shelters and FOBs with required angles. Note: Payment under this item shall be done in following manner; (I) 60% of the rate shall be paid after fabrication, application of priming coat of painting and transportation to the site, (II) 30% of the rate on erection & launching of the complete structure. (III) Balance 10% of the rate will be paid after final painting and other allied works complete in satisfactory manner as detailed above.

Providing and laying blanketing materials of specifications as per RDSO guidelines for design /Construction of formation on Indian Railway track issued vide letter no. RS/G/108/Heavy Axle Load dated 26.10.2016, using well graded granular material having Cu>7, Cc between 1 and 3, fines (passing 75 microns) between 3% to 10%, minimum Soaked CBR value of 25 and compacted at 100% of MDD in layers of maximum 30 cm thickness in loose state using graders and compaction using vibratory compactors, top and side dressing to provide final formation as per designed profile. The rate shall not include compaction, which shall be paid separately. NOTE: 1) If naturally available materials do not meet the laid down specifications, the blanket material has to be produced by mechanical process using mechanical crushing or mechanical blending method or 01 combination of these two methods as given in the Appendix-C of RDSO Guidelines and Specifications for Design of Formation for Heavy Axle Load -2009. The rate for this item is inclusive of the production of material by mechanical process as per above mentioned RDSO guidelines and in case such mechanical process is not required to be used in providing and laying of blanketing material due to availability of natural blanketing material conforming to laid down specifications, the rate of this item shall be reduced by Rs. 250/- per cum. 2) The filter criteria and minimum EV2 Criteria as mentioned in the guidelines of 2009 is not applicable. 3) The rate shall include cost of all field and laboratory tests except CBR tests which will be paid vide separate BOQ item. 4) The Latest guidelines for Design / Construction of formation on Indian Railway track, issued vide RDSO lr. No. RS/G/108/Heavy axle load dated 26.10.2016 shall be adopted for this item. The basic instructions (other than those contained in the latest guidelines dated 26.10.2016) detailed in GE: G-1 of 2003 and GE:0014 of 2009 shall continue to apply.

Mechanical Compaction of Earth and Blanket materials in layers of about 30 CM (or more or less) in loose state using vibratory compactor (of adequate capacity) so as to achieve compaction as per RDSO 01 Guidelines and Specification for Design of Formation for Heavy Axle Load - Nov 2009. Minimum EV2 Criteria as mentioned in the guidelines is not applicable. Note: The payment for compaction shall be based on the computed quantity of earth work/blanket work from the cross sections. The payment, however, will be restricted only to the approved design profiles furnished by the Engineer; or the actual quantity executed whichever is less.
