Supplying Reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete. High yield strength deformed bars

Supply and using cement at worksite : OPC 53 grade

Providing and laying machine mixed , machine and machine batched design mix , Reinforced Cement Concrete M 30 grade or above as per approved GAD in precast units/ segments of RCC box in bottom/ 1 top slab walls including haunches or any other component using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality of RCC box of any size including finishing , admixtures in recommended proportions ( as per IS 9103) , if approved in mix design , to accelerate / retrad setting of concrete , improve workability without impairing strength and durability , complete as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge ( Note:- Payment for cement reinforcement and shuttering shall be paid extra)

"Loading of PSC sleepers in BFRs/lorry with/without fittings and fastenings i.e., ERCs, GR 1 pads, liners etc., during traffic block including lead upto 50m including crossing of track where ever necessary with all contractors labour, tools plants including all lead and lift complete and as directed by Engineer - in - charge at site. Note: Rate to be reduced by 10% if the work is done in depot or station(non-traffic block)."

Removal of rails(LH/RH ) on any section with fittings and fastenings including stacking within 50m in connection with dismantling of track and as directed by Engineer in charge at a site(payment to be made separately for LH and RH rail)

Removal of sleepers of all types with fittings including stacking within 50m in connection with dismantling of track and as directed by Engineer in charge at a site.

"Laying BG plain track using released / new rails of any section any type of sleeper to any 12 density (all Pway materials to be supplied by Railway)with in a lead of 200m as per plan. As per plan including aligning,leveling , gauging, including kutcha packing with all contractor's labour, tools, plants etc. complete and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. Note: 1. Rate excluding drilling of holes and cutting of rails. 2.Lubrication of joints to be done before fixing of fish plates and bolts, grease and black oil will be supplied by Railways."

Providing lighting arrangements for about 1000 m length for block work during night time involving arranging 10K.V.A generator 2 nos. ( i.e one for working in the block and one for standby in working 13 condition), 8 halogen lights of 500 W. each, 40 fluorescent tube lights fixed to the bullies at required locations including cost of consumables such as petrol and engine oil etc., with all contractor labour, tools, plants, machinery, electrical wire, switches, tube lights and consumables and any connected materials as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Drilling holes 26 to 32mm dia in rails of 90lbs & above section 72/90UTS as per the correct 14 template with machine including champhering and as directed by Engineer - in - charge at site. Note: Contractor has to use his own equipment, materials and labour etc., and the rate is inclusive for this and is for the complete job in running track

Fixing of fish plates/removing fish plates with plain / joggled fish plates at any location to rails/ 15 welds by drilling holes manually or by machine, or clamping the locations with clamps using bolts and nuts at site on running track including greasing of bolts and nuts with all contractor labour, tools etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1.Drilling of holes will be paid separately. 2. Pair of Fish plates for each joints bolts & clamps etc. will be supplied at depot. of SE/SSE.

Welding of 52/60 kg rails during traffic block, duly removing the rail to rail fastenings, sleeper to rail fastenings, adjusting the gap up to 25 mm between rail ends, cleaning rail ends with K. oil, respacing the joint sleepers for fixing the dry mould, lifting the rail ends, aligning, fixing moulds/ mould boxes heating the rail ends with petrol, to the required temperature welding, removing the excess weld metal with weld trimmer and finally grinding the welded joint to the required profile with profile grinder as elucidated in the welding manual of 1998 with all contractors labour except a qualified welder of railways, tools such as welding tank along with 16 vaporizer crucible, dry mould, mould shoes, clamps will be supplied free of cost by Railways at SSE's stores, consumables like K.oil, petrol welding portion, asbestos powder etc. required will be supplied free of cost by Railways as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge at site including fixing the rails to sleepers immediately after welding to allow trains. Note: 1. Weld trimmer and profile grinder will be supplied at SSE stores/Depot. Required consumables will also be supplied by Railways at free of cost. 2. Contractor to arrange trained staff for using the machines. 3. All materials required for welding work will be supplied by Railways at free of cost. 4. Sleepers spacing to be corrected after welding. 5. Disturbed parameters of the track to be made good after welding. 6. Disturbed ballast section to be made good. 7. After welding, the weld joint to be painted supplied by Railways to the extent of 100mm on both the sides of the weld including bottom surface of the flange of the rail

Through packing of screened track as described in Indian Railways Permanent Way Manual 17 of any type of sleeper for relaxation of speed -first packing including picking up slacks in between kutcha packing and first packing as per requirement PSC sleeper

Lifting of track more than 25mm but not exceeding 75mm on any type of sleeper inlcuding 20 one round of through packing work to be carried out as per IRPWM with corrections and as per Engineer-in- charge. Note: 1) Payment for further packing will be made under 18020401/02, 18020501/02, 18020601/02. 2)For lifting of points & crossings extra over the item 50% to be paid.

Supplying and filling 50 kg size empty cement polythene bags with Rly. Ballast/moorum/earth 21 etc. placing the filled bags on the high banks/bridge approaches/nominated place etc. dumping and spreading at the nominated locations to profile under block period with all contractor's labour,tools,plants empty polythene 50kgs.cement bags,loading,unloading,filling,spreading including all lead/lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer in charge at site including crossing of track where necessary.

Removal of ballast from track upto formation level,screening and stacking within 50m lead including crossing of track whereever necessary in connection with dismantling of track and as directed by Engineer in charge at a site. Payment will be made based on the measurement of the screened ballast stacks.

Transportation of railways wooden sleepers/ steel cribs from nominated locations/depots by 1 using contractor road vehicles/ trucks/ trailers to the work spots and handing over them on completion of work to nominated location/depot including loading, unloading, stacking at specified locations with all contractor's labour, tools, plant, machinery etc., including all lead, lift, crossing of track if any carrying through nallah bed etc., complete and as directed by the engineer-in-charge at site.
