Delaunching the existing 3x30.5m open web through steel girders on Bridge no. 1251/1 DN with all contractors falls/temporary arrangements & labour, T&P etc. Complete & stacking released material/Girder at the nominated place as directed by Engineer-in-Charge under safe custody of SSE/Br/JHS in office campus of SSE/Br/JHS.. The delaunching will include the following operations- a) De linking of track, jacking the girders on 5 piers/abutments, providing supporting rolling arrangement, securing the same by providing guide strips as per approved drawing. (the work of delaunching existing girder and inserting new girders will be done simultaneously). b) Preparing temporary staging for receiving the released girder, provide side slewing arrangement under the old girders & over temporary staging for side slewing the girder out of alignment during the some traffic block. c) Lowering old girders to the bed level one by one and dismantling the girders and removing out from the river bed, transporting and stacking the under safe custody of SSE/Br/JHS as per the instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note-Payment on pro rata basis span wise.

Replacement of existing stone masonary bed block by pre cast new bed block of RCC M-35 6 Grade as per Railway approved drawing, placing & fixing in position including all the temporary and false arrangements, labour, T&P, including all staging for false arrangement including dismantling of existing stone bed block and stone masonary/grillage upto required level complete.

Fabricating, supplying and fixing of 6 to 8 mm thick steel chequered plate conforming to IS: 1 3502 for pathway, trolley refuges, floor for the bridge including fixing the same over steel channel sleepers by drilling holes in channel sleepers and trolley refuges incl. nuts & bolts, tools and plants, labour as a complete job MT Bearing 211100 1500.00 412.12 618180.00 30.70 807961.26

Fabricating, supplying and fixing in position Galvanized steel channel sleepers of mild steel of 4 tested quality conforming to IS: 2062, on fabricated girders including all fixtures fastenings as per approved Railway drawings with labour, material, tools and plants etc. as a complete job including galvanizing of all components

Laying pitching with stone boulders supplied by the railways with the voids filled with spalls on slopes laid over prepared filter media including boulder apron laid dry in front of toe of embankment as per drawings and technical specifications. Max lead upto 150m (Filter media to be paid under the relevant item)

Earth work in excavation for foundations and floors of the bridges, retaining walls etc., 7 including setting out, dressing of sides, ramming of bottom, getting out the excavated material, back filling in layers with approved material and consolidation of the layers by ramming and watering etc. incl. all lift, disposal of surplus soil upto a lead of 300 M, all types of shoring and strutting with all labour and material complete as per drawing and technical specification as directed by Engineer in charge All kinds of soils

Providing and laying in position M 20 Grade concrete for reinforced concrete structural 8 elements but excluding cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement and Admixtures in recommended proportion (as per IS:9103) to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in charge All work in buildings above plinth level upto floor two level.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 with graded stone aggregate of 40 mm 9 nominal size, in foundation and floors, retaining walls of bridges including mechanical mixing, vibrating, pumping and bailing out water where ever required with all materials and labour complete but excluding the cost of cement and shuttering as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer

Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : Abutment, pier, wing walls and return walls

Supplying fabrication, transportation for assembly and testing of riveting open web girders of 1x61.00m (Clear span) as per RDSO Drg. Set (Drg no. RDSO BA/17071) for 61.0m span Welded/riveted open web girders for25 Ton axle load/ MBG loading or as per latest Drg in adoption as issued by RDSO. Indian Railway's standard specifications for fabrication of steel bridge girders i.e. B-1/2001 & B-2/1979 (as per corrected up to date) including trolley refuges, man refuges, side path way, inspection ladder. Supplying and fixing in position of shop rivets, bolts with nuts, washers etc. required for complete fabrication of the girders and transportation of the fabricated materials at side and staking of the same at places as directed by Engineer including one primer coat of red lead paint confirming to IS 102-1962 (Revised over the structural members complete in all respect amendment2) and including all cost of material, fuel, labour MS bolts, nuts, rivets, paints, 1 tools and plants etc. and all taxes in vogue including loading and unloading etc. complete the rate shall all also include trail assembling in the shop yard or at site as directed by the Engineer. Note:- (1) Fabrication steel shall confirm to RDSO's letter no. CBS/Steel dt. 05.06.87 as IS-2062-1992 Grade-B0, fully killed and fully normalized and in case of non availability Grade 'Bo steel Grade 'BR' will be allowed after verification by Engineer in charge. (2) Open web girders will be inspected checked by Compltent Railway Officials. Mode of Payment: (i) 40% of rate payment shall be made after steel material required for fabrication is received in contractor's workshop. The payment shall be made on the basis of invoice and against bank gurantee of requisite value covering full completion period. (ii) 30% of rate payment will be made on acceptance of fabricated compontents at fabrication shop against Bank Gurantee of requisite value covering full completion period. (iii) 20% of rate payment will be made after delivery of material at site. (iv) Balance 10% payment will be made on completion of assembling of girders or temporary staging.

Assembling riveting with contractors rivets welding wherever required with contractor's welding material, erection, launching lowering, aligning and placing at exact position (as directed by the engineer incharge) the steel through type girder 1x61.0m span (Drg. no. RDSO BA/ 17071) and other ancilary steel structure such as hand railing, trolley refuge, man refuge side path way etc. when ever necessary in proper level and alignment and painting two coats of aluminum paint including providing and fixing holding down bolts with all 2 necessary work, like making holes grouting of both with epoxy based compound. The rate shall be inclusive of supply, erection and dismantling of staging scaffolding and other temporary arrangement require for assembly, erection, launching and lowering of girders. THe rate shall be inclusive of cold straightening of deformed and bent girders parts before the assembly, painting with contractor's paint, labour etc. (Painting schedule is given in special condition) Mode of Payment: (i) 85% of rate- On completion of rivetting, launching and complete erection with drifting and service bolts in position with lowering and placing of girder in position. (ii) 14% of rate- On testing and replacing of loose rivets placing of girder on bearing painting etc. complete in all respect. (iii) 1% of rate after doing deflection test of 1 span as per special condition.

Fabricating, supplying & erecting in position bearing as per RDSO Drg. No. BA-17071 complete in all respect including transportation, loading, unloading with own labours, materials, fuel, equipment etc. (Note: One set means all 4 bearing of One span i.e. Two roller and Two rockers bearing.)

Fabricating, supplying, assembling, transporting and galvanising of steel cahnnel sleeper as per RDSO Drg. No. B-1636/R2 made from standard rolled section (confirming to IS 2062 Grade B0) as per Standard approved drawing and specification including supply of all fitting and fixtures duly galvanised as per Specification will all contractor's tools, plants, material etc. complete. The work includes cutting of steel to size and 4 shape, drilling assembling, welding, riveting, bolting, holding, milling, griding and painting of steel channel sleepers and galvanised fitting and fixtures as per instructions of Rly. Engineer incharge of work. Painting is to be done as per painting schedule enclosed with this tender schedule. Mode of Payment: (i) Payement for assembling, fabrication, transportation, supplying and galvanising of steel cahnnel sleepers, its fitting and fixtures will be made under one item i.e. NS-4. (ii) Rate should include sales tax, octroi, excise duty if any etc. complete. (iii) For payment purpose actual weight of finished sleeper will be considered as per Standard drawing.
