Providing & Laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 THP batch type hot mix plant with bituminous binder CRMB -55 @ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision) 2013 clause No. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4 % as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Thickness of BC laid over the existing Black Top surface is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5 % is achieved . Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work. Note :- Before laying BC on existing road surface, any exisiting pot holes and cracks shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with clause No. 3004.2 and 3004.3. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in M.B but no payment on this account shall be made, these are incidental to work. Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti –stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of result be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and marking center line/side line 2.5mm thick (Minimum) and other marking as per drawing and direction of Engineer in Charge with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10 cms wide ( Centre Line)/ 15 cm wide (Edge line) complete in all respect as per the dimensions given in IRC 35, furnishing all labour, materials, tools equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and amp; bridge works (5th revision) of 2013 / latest edition . Each container of the thermoplastic paint material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature . The thermoplastic paint material shall be Asian Paint – Apemark/ Berger- Sigmare/ Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters / Sovitec/ Flexolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material showing all tests specified and shall certify that the material meet all requirement of the specifications. The Reflextorizing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause - 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads. The method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (Part-3)

Providing and installing shoulder mounted directional/ cautionary signage’s of various size using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC 67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminium composite Panels as base board with pressure – sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two. Mild Steel pipe Post 80mm NB Medium Class 4mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size ( 450mm X 450 mm X 600mm), complete as per drawings, Technical Specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Size 900mm Equilateral Triangle)

Providing & amp; fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC 79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M.S. Angle 25 x 25 x 3mm and post of 50 x50x5mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro- prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type XI specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 m thick Aluminium on both sides.

Pavement Marker ( Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D4280 type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORT&H circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DOIII dated 11.06.1997. The Height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, ( of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height not less than 30+/-mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer ( of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3 M)

Providing & fixing of Arrow/ route marker/ chevron board of size 450 x 600 mm made of 2mm thick aluminum sheet with back support of 25x25x3mm having indication plate of size 300 x 250mm of 2mm thick aluminum sheet having back support of MS angle 25x25x3mm complete board processed by Heat treatment process to make it resistant to all weathers effects. Front side to have high intensity retro reflective sheeting and work matter of same grade also provided with 1 leg post of ht. 3.5 mtr. of 47 sq. pipe of 14 SWG CRCA duly painted with high quality synthetic enamel paint in alternate colour of black & white complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Providing & and erecting a “W” metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail ,70 cm above road/ ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x75x 5 mm spaced 2m centre to centre, 1.8m high, 1.1 m below ground/ road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS : 1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 811 of MORT&H specification.
