Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in civil engineering, particularly in areas like earthwork, Granular sub-base/base, RE Walls, and Concrete in bridges. For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also provide details of their experience in similar works, including the number of years of experience as a Prime Contractor, Joint Venture, or Sub-Contractor. Additionally, the bidder should mention the number of years their organization has been in the business of similar works under its present name. The bidder is also required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. Furthermore, if the bidder proposes to use named Sub-Contractor(s) for critical components of the works, or for work contents in excess of 10 percent of the value of the whole works, they should provide specific information about the Sub-Contractor(s). The bidder needs to provide information on their current contract commitments, including the contract value, percentage of work completed, and percentage of the amount outstanding. The bidder is also required to submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation, and provide evidence of access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities (10% of contract value).
