The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. For works above a certain value, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. Specifically, for key personnel, the required experience includes: - Project/Work Manager: BE (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience - Site Engineer: BE (Civil) & BE (Elect.) or Diploma (Civil / Elect.) with at least 2 years of experience - Quality Control Engineer: B.E. (Civil) or Dip. (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience The bidder should also provide information on their current commitments, including contract value, percentage of completion, and amount outstanding, as well as details of contracts of similar nature and complexity. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A * N * 2 - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the project, and B is the value of existing commitments. Values and percentages of similar works completed mentioned include 80%, 50%, and 40% of the estimated cost of work. The amount of minimum annual financial turnover required for works above a certain value is 40% of the estimated cost of work.
