Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar works within the last five years. The specific requirements for prior work experience are as follows:
- For works above a certain value:
- One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work,
- Or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work,
- Or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work.
Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder must also demonstrate their ability to complete projects of similar value and complexity.
The bidder must have completed at least one project with a value similar to the project they are bidding on. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by enhancing the value of executed works at a specified rate.
For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder needs to meet the aforementioned requirements. The bidder's available bid capacity must be more than the estimated value of the project.
The bidder needs to provide information on their current contract commitments, including the name of the contract, contract value, percentage of completion, and the stipulated date of completion. They should also provide details on the nature of the work, the client, and the location of the project.
The bidder must provide a summary sheet of their current contract commitments, including the contract value, estimated amount of work completed, and the amount outstanding. They should also provide an affidavit/undertaking stating that all the statements made in the required attachments are true and correct.
The amount of cash the bidder must be able to invest is up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation.
