The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, Joint Venture, and Sub-Contractor, with specifications for experience in the bidder's own country and other countries. For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder is required to provide details of their experience in similar works, including a list of similar works completed, estimated cost of the work, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder must also demonstrate their capability and experience in handling similar projects. Additionally, the bidder must undertake to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during its implementation. They should also provide annual turnover data for the last three years and a report on their financial standing, including profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the past 5 years. The bidder should also provide a preliminary description of the proposed work method and schedule, including drawings and charts, as necessary, and a programme of construction backed with equipment planning and deployment duly supported with quality assurance procedures proposed to be adopted justifying their capability of execution and completion of works as per technical specifications, within the stipulated period of completion.
