The bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge. The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in some cases, but the bidder should provide details of works in progress or contractually committed. However, in one case, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of similar works completed should be provided for each of the last five years. The total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited should be provided, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. The bidder needs to provide information on work performed as a prime contractor, including project name, name of employer, description of work, value of contract, contract number, date of issue of work order, stipulated date of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay, if any. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide information on work performed as a sub-contractor, including similar details as mentioned above. The bidder also needs to provide information on their total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder is also required to provide information on their existing commitments and ongoing construction works, including description of work, place and state, contract number and date, name and address of employer, and value of contract.
