Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder should have experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. They should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The value of similar works completed should be updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder should demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved in any one year, a minimum financial turnover equivalent to: 60% of amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs and less, or 75% of amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figures of 60% and 75% would be replaced by 50%. The financial turnover achieved on account of execution of road works under PMGSY shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause. The bidder should also provide information on existing commitments and on-going construction works, including the value of works remaining to be completed. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and M is 2. B is the value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause.
