The bidder is required to have prior work experience of having satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder should have completed works of similar nature and volume over the last five years. A specific value of 147703, excluding maintenance, but inclusive of GST, is mentioned as a requirement. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at a rate of 8 percent per year. The bidder's performance in already allotted PMGSY works will also be taken into account during the technical evaluation of bids. The bidder should have completed works of similar nature, with a value that can be calculated as per the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion, M is a factor (2 or higher, not exceeding 3), and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works. The required prior work experience includes a minimum amount of work experience, with a specific mention of one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work, and a percentage of 120% for road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
