The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. For technical personnel, the experience required is as follows: - Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: 2 years for works up to 5.00 crores, 3 years for works more than 5.00 crores - Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: 3 years for works up to 5.00 crores, 3 years for works more than 5.00 crores - W/Supervisor: 3 years for works up to 5.00 crores, 3 years for works more than 5.00 crores - Lab Technician: 3 years for works up to 5.00 crores, 3 years for works more than 5.00 crores The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. Additionally, the bidder should have prior work experience with an amount of similar work completed being 404.90 Lacs, which is 1/3rd of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also have existing commitments and on-going construction works, with details of value of contract, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed. Subcontracting is allowed for components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price. The required prior work experience for the bidder is mentioned in terms of experience in road works, and the bidder should demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts they are bidding on. The bidder should demonstrate having experience in construction work, either owned, or on lease or on hire, of the key equipment stated, including equipment required for establishing a field laboratory to perform mandatory tests. The bidder should also demonstrate availability for construction work of technical personnel as stated. For package size exceeding Rs. 10 crore, Joint Ventures are allowed, and the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, while each of the remaining partners should meet not less than 25% of all the criteria. The Joint Venture must also collectively satisfy the subject of the criteria, and the relevant figures for each of the partners shall be added together to arrive at the Joint Venture total capacity, which shall be 100% or more.
