Technical Capacity
The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement.
For example, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of 486.43 Lacs, which is 1/3rd of the estimated cost of the work. This indicates that the bidder should have experience in works of similar value and complexity.
The bidder should also have experience in road works, with specific requirements for technical personnel, including a degree or diploma holder in civil engineering, and experience in road works, with at least 2 years of experience for works up to 5.00 crores and 3 years of experience for works above 5.00 crores.
Additionally, the bidder should have completed works of similar nature and volume over the last five years, with details of the work, including contract value, billing amount, and date of completion, to be provided in the bid. The bidder shall also furnish details of other civil works of similar nature executed and completed, mentioning allotted cost and work done cost, with a certificate from the concerned officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent.
