East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the completion of similar nature of work. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder needs to provide information on the "description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award and date of scheduled completion of work, date of actual start, actual date of completion and final value of contract at the time of bill finalisation" for similar works completed. However, for tender value up to Rs. 50 Lakhs, no minimum eligibility criteria is specified, but the bidder should upload documents to testify their financial capacity, capability, and past performance. Also, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting of work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
