East Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned for the general case, but the tenderer should submit the percentage of local content in the material being offered, with 0 for fully imported items and 100 for fully indigenous items. Although no minimum eligibility criteria is specified for tender value up to Rs. 50 Lakhs, tenderers are advised to upload documents so their financial capacity, capability, and past performance to execute the tendered work can be adjudged during evaluation of their offer. The value of the contract for similar works should be mentioned, but no specific amount or percentage is required, except for the cases mentioned above.
