East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories are: 1) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, 2) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or 3) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Similar nature of work includes outdoor or indoor signaling work, signaling work directly related to the interlocking of the Core Signaling System, MACLS work, or other related signaling works. The bidder must submit certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience, along with a list of works carried out in the past. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V', whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The values and percentages of similar works completed mentioned are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender.
