The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific categories of work within the last 7 years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The list of completed works submitted for fulfillment of eligibility criteria must include a description of the work, organization for whom it was executed, approximate value of the contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of scheduled completion of work, date of actual start, actual date of completion, and final value of the contract at the time of bill finalization. A threshold value of Rs 50 Lakhs is mentioned, for which no minimum eligibility criteria is specified. However, for subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience is required.
