East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder involves the completion of similar works. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (1) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (2) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (3) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder must submit a list of completed works for fulfillment of eligibility criteria for similar nature of work, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, date of scheduled completion of work, date of actual start, actual date of completion, and final value of contract at the time of bill finalization. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. However, specific values and percentages are not provided, except that the advertised value of the tender is 60203414.01. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting of work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
