The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works during the last ten years. The bidder should satisfy either of the following conditions: 1. One similar work costing not less than 60% of the cost of the work put to bid, 2. At least one completed work of a similar nature costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. Alternatively, the bidder should have successfully completed by single/multiple contract/orders, similar works during the last ten years, satisfying either of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the cost of work put to bid, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of work put to bid, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the cost of work put to bid. Additionally, at least one completed work of similar nature, costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the estimated cost put to tender, should have been executed with some Central/ State Government Organisation. The remaining work experience should satisfy the requirements with works successfully executed for reputed private organizations. The value of executed work should be similar to the work under Bid, with specific details such as scope of work, date of completion, completed value, name of work, agreement/order no., date of start etc. The bidder should also have an average annual financial turnover during the immediate last 3 consecutive financial years, which should be at least 30% of the project cost put to tender. The values of executed works/turnover shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual values at 7% per year calculated from the date of completion to the last date. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) will be 2% for works up to Rs. 5.00 Cr. and 1% or Rs. 10.00 Lac, whichever is higher, for works above 5.00 Cr. The percentages and amounts mentioned are 30%, 40%, 60%, Rs. 5.00 Cr, and Rs. 10.00 Lac.
