The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works during the last ten years, with specific requirements such as: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost of work put to bid, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to bid, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid. Additionally, at least one completed work of similar nature should have been executed with a Central/State Government Organisation, costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should also have experience of executing works in "Access controlled campuses" amounting to not less than 40% of the tender cost for any Central/State Government Organisation, during the last seven years. The value of executed works/turnover should be brought to the current cost level by enhancing the actual value at a rate of 7% per annum at a simple rate. In some cases, no specific percentage or amount of similar works completed is mentioned, and the pre-qualification will be made on the basis of the past record and successful completion of such projects in the stipulated time with good quality, proven technical competence, experience of handling works of comparable magnitude and complexity, expertise and know-how in the relevant field, financial resources, technical manpower and construction equipment owned by Bidders.
