The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The definition of similar work is Construction of any type of bridge / arch strengthening work. The tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year upto the date of opening of the tender, may be selected for the award. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - V/N (where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work) - Rs 20 crore for tenders requiring Bid Capacity - Rs 10 crore for tenders requiring Joint Venture (JV) - Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover of a public listed company.
