The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 7 years. These categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed similar works with costs relative to each component of the tender, following the same percentages. The value of similar works completed is considered based on the final bill, including the Price Variation Clause (PVC) amount. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered. Specific amounts mentioned for similar works are 15540800.00 and 24282500.00, with escalated amounts of 16372232.80 and 25581613.75, respectively, using an escalation percentage of 5.35%. A payment of 90% of the present contract value is considered as substantially completed work. In case of subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the proposed subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, within the last 5 years, unless the work costs up to Rs 50 lakh.
