The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having technical personnel with experience in road works, specifically: - A degree holder in Civil Engineering with 1 year of experience - A diploma holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience - Others (to be specified) with 3 years of experience. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years is required. The value of similar works completed is required to be mentioned in terms of the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work, but no specific percentage is mentioned. However, proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price, are allowed. The bidder should provide the value of the contract and the value of works remaining to be completed. The bid security should be Rs 12.53 Lacs, which is 2 percent of the estimated value of the works. Subcontracting of components of the works for construction or up-gradation should not exceed 25 percent of the contract price.
