Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering construction work, with a total annual volume of work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder should have completed similar civil works, with details of works underway or contractually committed, mentioning allotted cost and work done cost, with a certificate from the concerned officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder should have completed at least a certain amount of work, with the assessed available bid capacity calculated as (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, M is a factor not exceeding 3, and B is the value of existing commitments and on-going works. The lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet not less than 25% of the criteria. The joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria, with the relevant figures for each partner added together to arrive at the joint venture total capacity, which should be 100% or more. Proposals for subcontracting the components of the works for construction/up-gradation should not exceed 25 percent of the contract price.
