The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts, with experience in similar nature of works executed. The required prior work experience includes completing at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work, with the value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana counted as 120%. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works during the last five years. The bidder is also required to provide evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources/facilities, certified by a banker, equivalent to 10 percent of the contract value. In case the contract of the work is awarded in the bidder's favor, they shall invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the contract during the implementation of the work. The bidder is required to submit a credit facility certificate amounting to 10% of the advertised cost from a recognized bank for the tender. The amount of bid security is Rs. 36.59 Lacs. For joint ventures, the lead partner must meet at least 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet at least 25% of the criteria. The joint venture must collectively satisfy the subject of the criteria. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years. The calculation formula is: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and M is 2. B is the value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited.
