Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder is required to have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They must provide details of works in progress or contractually committed with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. Specifically, the bidder needs to provide information on: - Work performed as prime Contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. - Work performed as Sub-Contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They must have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder must have: - Completed similar work equal to one-third (or one-fourth in Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. - A financial turnover of 75% of the amount put to bid, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs, or 60% if the amount put to bid is less than or equal to Rs. 200 lakhs. - In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figures of 60% and 75% would be replaced by 50%. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. Additionally, the bidder's financial turnover achieved on account of execution of road works under PMGSY shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause, if the bidder has executed road works under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated completion period. Proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation should not exceed 25 percent of the Contract Price. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. For a Joint Venture, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the criteria. The available bid capacity of the JV will be applied for each partner to the extent of his proposed participation in the execution of the work, and the total bid capacity available shall be more than the estimated contract value.
