Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder is required to have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They must have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is up to Rs. 200 lakhs, and 75% of the amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. A specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned for subcontracting, which is not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price. The bidder should also provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years, and details of existing commitments and on-going construction works, including the value of works remaining to be completed. The amount put to bid above would not include maintenance cost for 5 years and the turnover will be indexed at the rate of 8% per year. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering construction work, with a total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder's financial reports for the last five years, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and auditors' reports, should also be provided. The bidder needs to submit scanned copies of certificates showing details of similar works executed, works in hand, and machineries owned or on lease. The bid security is Rs. 10.48 Lacs, which is 2 percent of the estimated value of the works.
