The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder should have completed similar work with a value of at least one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. In one instance, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of 764.93 Lacs, which is 1/3rd of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also have experience in road works, with specific requirements for technical personnel, including a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience for works up to 5.00 crores and 3 years for works above 5.00 crores, and a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience for works up to 5.00 crores and 3 years for works above 5.00 crores. The available bid capacity of the bidder will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The assessed available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance.
