The bidder is required to have experience in similar work, with information to be provided on work performed as a prime contractor or sub-contractor. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five financial years and current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. For a Joint Venture, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the criteria. Proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works should not exceed 25 percent of the Contract Price. The bidder needs to provide details of projects completed in the last five financial years and the current year, including project name, employer, description of work, value of contract, and stipulated and actual completion dates. A certificate from the employer, duly issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Equivalent, shall be submitted along with the application incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, actual date of completion of work, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. The bidder also needs to provide information on their total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited, along with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant for the total annual volume of work executed.
