The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of an agreement value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. The experience certificates of similar work are considered for a period of five years before the last date of receipt of tender. For instance, if the last date of receipt of tender is in June 2025, the experience certificates are considered from June 1, 2020, to May 31, 2025. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of this turnover being from civil engineering construction works. The turnover is indexed at the rate of 8% per year, updated to the current financial year's price level in which bids are invited. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder needs to have completed similar works with a value of at least 25% of the bid amount, and have a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the bid amount, with 50% of this turnover coming from civil engineering construction works. In the case of a Joint Venture, the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners should meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The Joint Venture must also collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria.
