The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of an agreement of value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. The turnover is indexed at an 8% annual rate, adjusted to the current financial year's price level when bids are invited. Therefore, the required prior work experience includes completing similar work valued at 25% of the bid amount and achieving a financial turnover of 50% of the bid amount, with 50% of that turnover from civil engineering construction works.
