The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering construction works, specifically in works of a similar nature and size as the proposed project. The required prior work experience includes: * Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years * Total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years * Value of similar works completed, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB (not less than one third of contract value) * Annual financial turnover amount of at least 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB * Quantities of works, with a minimum of 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities * Completion of at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value * Execution of minimum quantities of major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have: * A minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the estimated cost of the package in any one year * A total volume of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the estimated cost of the package * Completed works of a similar nature with a value of at least the estimated cost of the package For unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT (estimated cost of the package) in any one year, and exemption from the requirement of single similar nature of work performed as prime contractor, subject to certain conditions.
