The bidder is required to have prior work experience in works of a similar nature and size. The required prior work experience includes a value of similar work of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. Additionally, the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. The bidder should also have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level. Relaxation in qualification criteria is also provided for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, which includes relaxation in minimum annual financial turnover to 25% of the DNIT in any one year. A certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, is required, and a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, is also required. The bidder should have a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract and evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of notified contract value) certified by the bankers. The bidder should have completed a single similar work/quantity in a particular year, and the credential certificate for this should contain the full name, address, e-mail address, fax no. & mobile no. of the issuing officer and his head of the department. The required values and percentages include: - 1/3rd of the respective value of work - 67% of the DNIT value - 40% of the estimated quantity of major items - 10% per year weightage for previous years' work - 25% of the DNIT value for relaxation in qualification criteria - 25% of the value of the work for minimum cash during contract implementation - 10% of notified contract value for credit facilities.
