The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature and size, with a value of similar work being at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. The bidder should have completed a certain value of civil engineering construction work, with the total value of work performed in the last 5 years being reported. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year and should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work described in the bid document, in the last five years. The bidder should have a certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, and a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. The bidder should have completed similar works with specific milestones, including: - 15% of the entire contract work in 25% of the period allowed for completion of construction - 40% of the entire contract work in 50% of the period allowed for completion of construction - 75% of the entire contract work in 75% of the period allowed for completion of construction - 100% of the entire contract work within the period allowed for completion of construction The bidder should also have a credential certificate for single similar work/quantity executed in a particular year. The required experience for key personnel includes: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil + 3 to 5 Years Exp. - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 1 Years Exp. Or Diploma in Civil Engg + 3 years Exp - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Mech. + 5 years Exp. - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp. - Soil & Material Engineer: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp.
