The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a similar work with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should also have executed quantities of work as described in the bid document. The value of similar work is at least 1/3rd of the contract value, and the percentage of similar works completed is related to a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have also achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. Furthermore, the bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. A certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, is required, along with a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years. The bidder should submit a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work as on the date of submission of the bid, and the financial annual turnover for the last five years is also required. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in works of a similar nature and size, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value, and an annual financial turnover of at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work described in the bid document, in the last five years.
