The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering construction works, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT in any one year, and a weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring it to the present price level. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value, with a satisfactory completion of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 60% of the DNIT up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity, in any one year. However, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, where the minimum annual financial turnover is relaxed to 25% of the DNIT in any one year, with a weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work as a prime contractor over the last five years, but there is an exemption for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers from this requirement. The bidder should have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The bidder must provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value, certified by the bankers. The bidder should have a minimum of 10% of the contract value as liquid assets or availability of credit facilities. The bidder should have experience in similar works, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value, and should provide documents to authenticate the similar work completed. The bidder must provide a Quality Assurance Certificate, as an undertaking of execution of works in compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, drawings, and relevant quality standards.
