The bidder is required to have prior work experience in works of a similar nature and size. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The value of similar work should be at least one third of the contract value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. A certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge is required. Additionally, a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge is also required. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 of the DNIT value. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor for all main items of work described in the bid document, in the last 5 years. The value of similar work should be at least one third of the contract value. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 1/3rd of the respective value of work - 67% of the DNIT value - 40% of the estimated quantity of major items - 90% of the contract value - 10% per year weightage for previous years' work - 1/3 of the contract value - 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the entire contract work for milestones.
