The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB, excluding maintenance cost for four years. This value should not be less than one third of the contract value. The bidder should have executed quantities of work done in any one year of the last 5 years, with a value of at least 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The bidder should also have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. In terms of specific values, the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 25% of the estimated cost of the package in any one year. The cost of completed works of previous years is given a weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. For example, if the estimated cost of the package is Rs. 100 crore, the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least Rs. 25 crore in any one year. However, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria, where the minimum annual financial turnover required is 25% of the DNIT in any one year, with the cost of completed works of previous years given a weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level.
