The bidder is required to have prior work experience in works of a similar nature and size. Specifically, the bidder should have completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The required prior work experience includes work of a similar nature performed as prime contractor over the last five years, and quantities of work executed as prime contractor of all main items of work. The value of similar work should be at least one third of the contract value. The bidder should have completed a certain quantity of work, which is 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. However, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, which includes a relaxation in the minimum annual financial turnover to 25% of the DNIT in any one year. A certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge is required. Additionally, a certificate of executed quantities of work done in last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge is also required. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: * Value of similar work: 1/3rd of the respective value of work * Annual financial turnover amount: 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year. However, for specific cases, the bidder should have completed a single similar work/quantity in a particular year.
