The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar nature and size of works. The required information includes: * Value of similar work: 1/3rd of the respective value of work (not less than one third of the contract value) * Annual financial turnover amount: - 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh - 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned * Total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years * Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and details of works underway or contractually committed * Completed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 40% of the estimated quantity of major items * A single similar work of at least 25% of the estimated cost of the proposed work, or multiple similar works that collectively amount to at least 25% of the estimated cost of the proposed work * Satisfactory completion of at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with not less than 90% of contract value completed * Executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, relaxation in qualification criteria is provided for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, where the minimum annual financial turnover requirement is reduced to 25% of the DNIT.
