The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature and size, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the contract value. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work with a value of not less than one-third of the contract value, and a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should also have executed quantities of work as specified in the bid document, with a minimum of 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and should provide details of works underway or contractually committed, along with clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. The bidder is also required to provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor of all main items of work described in the bid document, in the last five years. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. However, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, which includes a relaxation in the minimum annual financial turnover to 25% of the DNIT in any one year, and exemption from the requirement of a single similar nature of work performed as a prime contractor. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and size, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the contract value, in the last five years. The annual financial turnover amount should be at least 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in IFB. The percentage of similar works completed is at least 90% of the contract value. The value of similar work is 1/3rd of the contract value. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity.
