The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantial completion of at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 386.65 lakh in the role of prime contractor in the last five financial years. The similar work is defined as “Construction of one RCC/PSC Girder Bridge with well/pile foundation having a span of 20 m in a contract of value not less than Rs 386.65 Lakh across channel/river in a road project.” The bidder should have completed at least 90% or more works under the contract of similar work. The value will be updated to the price level of the financial year 2025-26 at the rate of 5% per year. Specific construction and contract management experience required includes: - Successful completion of 85 MT of steel reinforcement in one or more contracts in any one year of the last five years. - Successful completion of a minimum 36 Rm depth of well in one or more contracts/projects in any one year of the last five years. - Successful completion of 1112 cum of RCC work in one or more contracts/projects in any year of the last five years. - Successful completion of 4349 cum of earthwork in excavation, earthwork in filling in embankment/subgrade in one or more contracts/projects for road construction work in any one year of the last five years. The minimum average annual construction turnover required is Rs. 386.65 lakhs in at least two of the last five financial years in civil engineering construction work.
