The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Value of similar work: 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which should not be less than one third of the contract value. - Annual financial turnover amount: 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work. - Quantities of work executed: 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. - Completion rate: Not less than 90% of the contract value for similar work. - Weightage for completed works of previous years: 10% per year based on the rupee value to bring them to the present price level. - Relaxation for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers: Minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT in any one year, and exemption from single similar nature of work performed as prime contractor. - Certificate requirements: Certificate of similar nature of work done and certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. - Total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last 5 years is required, with certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-Charge.
