The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantial completion of at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 133.16 Lakh in the last five financial years as a prime contractor. The bidder should have an average annual construction turnover of at least Rs. 166.46 Lakhs in civil engineering construction work, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and completed within the last five financial years. The bidder must have experience of continuous construction work over the past 5 years, with specific construction and contract management experience, including: - Successful completion of 43.03 MT of steel reinforcement in one or more contracts in any one year of the last five years. - Successful completion of a minimum 144 Rm depth of a minimum 1000 mm dia pile in one or more contracts/projects in any one year of the last five years. - Successful completion of 205.07 cum of RCC work in one or more contracts/projects. - Successful completion of 539 cum of earthwork in excavation, earthwork in filling in embankment/subgrade in one or more contracts/projects for road construction work in any one year. The substantial completion is based on 90% or more works completed under the contract of similar work, which is defined as “Construction of one RCC/PSC Girder Bridge with 20 m or more with Pile Foundation in a contract of value not less than Rs 133.16 Lakh across channel/river in a road project.” The available bid capacity will be calculated as under: Assessed Available bid capacity = (A*N*1.5-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value of existing commitments on ongoing works. The bidder should provide details of key personnel, including their academic qualifications, work experience, and time commitment for the project. The key personnel must be available for the duration of the contract and must have relevant experience in similar projects. The value will be updated to the price level of the financial year 2024-25 at a rate of 5% per year. The bidder must have completed certain key activities between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2024. The bidder must also demonstrate that they do not have a history of non-performing contracts since 1st January, 2019, and are not under suspension based on execution of a bid/proposal. The bidder's financial position and prospective long-term profitability should be sound, assuming all pending litigation will be resolved against the bidder. The bidder should declare any civil work contracts that have been suspended or terminated and/or performance security called by an employer for reasons related to non-compliance of any environmental, social, health, and safety (ESHS) requirements. The percentage of similar works completed is mentioned as 90% or more for substantial completion. The amount of similar works completed includes values such as Rs. 133.16 Lakh, 43.03 MT of steel reinforcement, 144 Rm depth of a minimum 1000 mm dia pile, 205.07 cum of RCC work, and 539 cum of earthwork.
