The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work of a similar nature performed as a prime contractor over the last five years. The bidder should have completed a similar work with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work, which is not less than one-third of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder's annual financial turnover should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should also have executed quantities of work as specified, with a minimum of 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. For certain bidders, such as unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT in any one year, and exemption from single similar nature of work performed as a prime contractor. The bidder is also required to submit a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work, and their financial annual turnover for the last five years. Certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-Charge for each year are also required. Specific roles and their required experience include: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil + 3 to 5 Years Exp. - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 1 Years Exp. Or Diploma in Civil Engg + 3 years Exp - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Mech. + 5 years Exp. - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp. - Soil & Material Engineer: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp. A certificate of similar nature of work done, and a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, are required. The bidder should have completed a single similar work/quantity executed in a particular year.
